We’re proud to announce that as part of our 3rd party accreditation we’ve successfully completed two FIRAS Site Inspections earlier this month.
Over the course of two days, we were subject to FIRAS inspections on two of our London based projects, Brentford Lock West, a development comprising 160 residential dwellings and Lambeth High Street, a similar type of development comprising 70 residential apartments. Gerco-Fas is the nominated Firestopping Contractor on both.
The inspection involved a thorough review of our working practices, installation methods and works recording systems. Although confident in our abilities it’s always gratifying to receive praise from a third party assessor who is revered throughout the industry.
Health and Safety protocols are compliant, read, understood and in operation by our site team.
Product selection is correct and installed as per Manufacturers Guidelines.
Penetrations and seals are recorded both manually and annotated on scale drawings along with the Gerco-Fas tagging system appended to the seals themselves.
